** NUS Golf Getaways**

Practice makes perfect, but practice on the golf course makes all the difference. NUS Golf Getaways are for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned handicapper, looking to meet some friends around your age, or a recent graduate from the beginner/intermediate lessons NUS Golf Getaways will be fun for everyone. We will organize this on Saturdays on a fortnightly basis for now and eventually if the response is good, we hope to go every week! When you register for Social Games, you will be arranged into a flight with other players so you can meet new people, compare notes and enjoy the say with like minded individuals. When you register for On-course Guidance, a single handicapper will guide you to manage the course effectively. Advise you on what shots to play when and why, based on your individual abilities to help improve your score on the golf course. If you feel you are not ready, snap out of it! The best way to learn to swim is to get thrown into the deep end. Of course its best if there’s someone there to swim with you.
We will be going into Johor via coach. If the coach is full, we may also need volunteers to drive. If you can drive, please indicate in the form below. Drivers will be compensated S$30 for toll and petrol (we have calculated all of this already). If you don’t have a ‘touch and go card’ do bring change some loose Malaysian Ringgit for toll, about RM20+, and make sure your cashcard as at least S$10.

Eat something before hand
10am – 1030am Warm Up @ Swing Perfection (Killiney Road)
1030am – 12pm Depart for Palm Villa
12 – 1pm Registration and Lunch
1pm – Tee off (bring some bananas or sandwiches to eat along the way)
630pm – Shower
7pm – Dinner and social gathering (In Malaysia)
830pm – Depart for Singapore
10pm – Arrive back at Swing Perfection
10pm onwards – Drinks and after party at Swing Perfection (if you want)
